Local Government Spending Transparency

Since unveiling the South Carolina Spending Transparency Website for state government in 2008, Comptroller Richard Eckstrom has expanded the transparency campaign to include local governments. He's encouraging cities, towns, counties and school districts to post their expenditures on the Web.
